Sutro - UPDATED 10/17/2009 - Volunteers, working in cooperation with UCSF, have been rediscovering and repairing historic trails built by the Works Progress Administration in the 1930s. The newly discovered multi-use trails follow the contour of the mountain within Mt. Sutro's eucalyptus forest in the UCSF Mt. Sutro Open Space Reserve. Click here for details. Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA) Master Plan Update - UPDATED 07/14/2006 - Starting in April 2006, the GGNRA will be developing a new 20-year general management plan GGNRA lands (excluding the Presidio and Fort Baker), scheduled to take affect in 2010. Golden Gate Park Trail Plan - UPDATED 10/25/2003 - There is a possibility of initiating a plan with the S.F. Recreation and Parks Department to develop a multi-use off-road trail loop in Golden Gate Park. Help is needed in the planning of this project which would bring legal mountain biking access to the park in line with the Golden Gate Park Master Plan. El Corte de Madera Open Space aka "Skeggs Point" - UPDATED 12/28/2004 - The old local favorite, Skeggs Point, will be going through some major trail system changes in 2004 and 2005. Keep abreast of the situation here. Presidio Trails and Bikeways Plan - UPDATED 04/16/2004 - The public comment period has ended for the Presidio Trails and Bikeways Plan for 2003.
